Secondary students turn trash into treasure
Senior students have been given the opportunity to engage in a large engineering project, by turning a defunct item into a useable trailer for the school.
Students from years 11 - 13, who are in the Star & Gateway class have been busy working on a project under the careful instruction of Mr Samson. As a team they are working on resurrecting an old trailer that is unusable and turning it into a permanent kayak trailer for the school. There are credits in fabrication and machining to be gained for all involved, as well as hands on experience with a large engineering project. As a school we cannot wait to be able to use the new trailer!
