Room 3 have been busy all week learning about writing narratives with Mrs Parker. The students have been learning that narratives are made up, or are works of fiction. They have learnt all about creating a character, which could be animals, people, or even vehicles (like in the movie 'Cars').  Once the character was established they created a setting and a plot, which had to include a problem and a solution. Most of the examples of the narratives we have looked at have a happy ending. The students created a storyboard with all their ideas which will serve as a plan for the narrative writing.
