Congratulations to Logan Bird on his Class Act Award. He received his certificate, badge and $6000 Scholarship from The Prime Minister on Thursday alongside 57 other students from the Otago Region. I was proud to accompany Shane and Karen Bird to the presentation and watch Logan receive this well-deserved award. The Prime Minister spoke of the need to develop persistence and resilience even in the face of adversity, sharing a personal story of developing ‘grit’.
