The focus of their learning was the Key Competency “Participating and contributing”- students who participate  and contribute in their community have a sense of belonging and the confidence to participate in new contexts. (New Zealand Curriculum).

Each group was responsible for a specific area: food, music or decorations. The students had to plan, run and clean up afterwards. They did a fantastic job. We would like to thank Ms Darmody, Mrs Parker and Britney Brown for their help on the day and Abby and Mat for supplying many of the decorations.
