Room 3 camping at school!
Room 3 have been excited to spend the night at school and there were plenty of marshmallows, giggles & tents!
From a windy start, the excitement quickly built as Room 3 stayed after school while everyone else headed home, ready for their overnight camp adventure!
The fun kicked off with tent setup, snacks, and outdoor games, followed by a local walk exploring the playground and orchard. Dinner came next, giving everyone the fuel they needed for an evening Tunnel Hill walk. Of course, no camp is complete without toasting marshmallows before bedtime.
Friday began bright and early (very early) with breakfast and packing up tents before heading out for a big day at Hinahina. The students cycled, enjoyed fruit breaks, explored the playground, and tried their hands at fishing, bushwalking, scavenger hunts and identification activities. After a delicious lunch and some final adventures, the group reflected on their experiences and shared what they appreciated most before heading home.
Room 3’s camp was packed with laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable memories, proof that our own backyard has so much to offer!
