Golf with Skip

Golf with Skip

Who knew golf could be this much fun? Junior students found out with Sports Activator Skip who gave tips on every shot.

On Tuesday in period 2 for P.E, we had golf with Skip, our sports activator. Golf was so much fun! We started in pairs, hitting tennis balls as far as we could. After a few turns, Skip put us into teams and set up hoops and cones on the ground so we could score points. After three rounds of competition, Team 2 won!

At the beginning of our golf lesson, we honestly thought golf might be boring or too hard. Sometimes we couldn’t hit the ball very far, or we’d even miss it completely! But by the end of the lesson, we could hit the ball much straighter and further, and that made us feel proud.

We’ve also learned that golf isn’t just about hitting the ball hard; it’s about being calm, focused, and controlled. That’s what makes it so satisfying when we get it right. Skip is great at explaining each step and helping us fix little mistakes, which has really helped us improve.

We never thought we’d enjoy golf so much, but now it’s something we want to do more of. It feels like a real achievement to see how much we’ve grown in confidence, and we can’t wait for Skip to come again!
