Celebrating Chinese Language Week
This week, TCAS turned up the fun and the flavour celebrating Chinese Language Week.
This week TCAS celebrated Chinese Language Week with a mix of hands-on activities. Some classes got crafty making colourful lanterns, while others rolled up their sleeves in the Tech room to cook dumplings with Summer, our Mandarin teacher.
The verdict from Room 19? The dumplings were delicious. Students said they loved eating them, enjoyed cooking together, and had fun learning the process. Some even confessed they weren’t big dumpling fans until they made and tasted their own. Talk about a tasty change of mind.
A huge thank you to Summer, who teaches our junior classes every Wednesday, for helping turn Chinese Language Week into a celebration filled with culture, cooking, and of course, plenty of yum.
