Eight weeks, countless stitches, and a lot of learning later, our Year 9 &10 Tech students have created hoodies they can truly be proud of.
The year 9-10 technology class have spent the last 8 weeks using sewing machines and overlockers to make hoodies.
Making a garment of clothing is a complicated process requiring many new skills. We didn't aim for perfection, we aimed for building our skills, following the process and finishing the task.
Some hoodies have started to come out of the wash and they are actually pretty cool. Janey, Isaac and I as kaiako are really proud of the Äkonga to see them persevere to the end! Well done sewing team!
