Murihuku Polyfest

Murihuku Polyfest

A huge mihi to our Kapa Haka who represented TCAS in Invercargill yesterday with their performance at Murihiku Polyfest

What an incredible experience it was for us to stand together on stage at Murihiku Polyfest 2025. Our rōpū performed with so much pride and passion. The energy, the positive attitude, and the way everyone performed was amazing. We looked sharp, our uniforms were on point, and every single one of us was so well put together.

One of the biggest highlights for me was seeing our entire group walking on stage together, performing together, and then walking off together as one. That truly showed the specialness of being an Area School.

We want to give a massive mihi to the people who made this possible:

Our tutors, Timikuka, Heni, and Gavin. Thank you for your guidance, patience, and aroha in preparing us.

Our kaiako and whānau. Thank you for your support, encouragement, and for transporting us.

Gina, Annie, Issac, and Janey. Thank you so much for getting our uniforms ready that helped us look incredible.

Ngā mihi nui also to Murihiku Polyfest for putting on such an incredible event. The atmosphere was welcoming, supportive, and uplifting.

A special shout-out to Aiden for giving us a powerful haka tautoko, we so appreciate you and your support.

Overall, it was a day full of pride, joy, and kotahitanga. We are so proud of what we achieved together, and we can’t wait for 2026.
