A season worth celebrating!

Netballers
Thursday marked the final whistle on an exhilarating 2024 netball season, and what a season it was! Players came together to relive the highs and celebrate another chapter of teamwork, dedication, and a whole lot of sideline cheering.
We kicked off our prizegiving in true style with some high-energy, inter-age netball games. Teams were mixed with all ages and skill levels and it was part friendly rivalry, part chaos, and 100% fun. From juniors scoring against seniors to seniors showing off height advantage, it was a great reminder of how sport brings us all together.
After the games, we headed into the gym for the formalities, where every player received a well-earned certificate and the coveted Most Improved, Most Dedicated, and Coaches’ Choice awards were presented to the standouts listed below. We also took time to celebrate two very special contributions to TCAS netball:
Natalie Grant, for her outstanding umpiring achievements – keeping the game fair, flowing, and occasionally reminding us that footwork rules still apply.
Amelia Morrison, as she retires her WA bib for TCAS after an incredible 7 years of playing. Her skill, sportsmanship, and commitment to the game have left a lasting mark.
The afternoon wrapped up with shared kai – the perfect way to refuel after all that running around.
A huge shout-out to our incredible coaches and managers – Maree Falconer, Gina Gardner, Liv Parkes, Alyssa McDougall, Rachael Landreth, Adele Sellars, Jess Ingham, and Robyn Lietze – without you, our terrific season simply wouldn’t have happened. Big thanks also to Nat and Sarah for their master-level organisation skills, and to all the whānau who showed up week after week to clap and cheer.
Here’s to another awesome season ahead – we’ll see you all on court in 2026!
