Sun, sweat & success at TCAS Cross Country!

The results are in! Check out who crossed the finish line first and which house claimed the top spot!
Cross Country 2025 kicked off with a classic South Otago morning, a frosty chill in the air and breath you could see. But as the day warmed up, so did the energy, and by race time, the sun had well and truly made its appearance giving perfect conditions for a good run (or a brisk walk, depending on your vibe).
The sunshine came out to play, and so did our awesome tamariki and whānau – it was a perfect mix of fresh air, friendly rivalry, and plenty of cheering from the sidelines. Whether ākonga were running for glory or just walking themselves to the finish line, the effort, energy, and smiles were absolutely top-notch. A special highlight for Nat was the increased participation from our secondary students, proving that cross country isn’t just for the runners, that even walkers were happy to participate.
Massive thanks to our awesome staff for marshalling, time-keeping, and general behind-the-scenes magic. Thank you to our whānau as well. Whether you were helping out, or cheering from the sidelines with a coffee in hand, we’re so grateful for your support.
Now for the results you’ve all been waiting for….... Nora House takes the glory this year – an outstanding effort! Manuka wasn’t far behind, securing second place and Surat coming in third.
