100 Days of school in Room 2!

Room 2 had a celebration of Learning and Teamwork to celebrate 100 days of school.
Today, we marked a major milestone in Room 2- 100 days of school! We've been counting down to this day with great excitement.
We began the day with a special treat: a visit to Ms. Gardner’s classroom, where we had the chance to make cupcakes decorated with 100s and 1000s. The children loved getting hands-on in the kitchen, showing creativity and focus as they worked together to make something sweet to share. We then enjoyed a shared morning tea and a movie.
After morning tea, we joined Nat for a special PE session focused on teamwork. The students participated in a range of activities that required cooperation, communication, and trust. These games weren’t just about running fast or being strong; they were about listening to one another, solving problems together, and encouraging every team member to do their best.
Teamwork is a vital part of what we learn at school. It helps us build social skills, develop empathy, and understand that everyone brings something valuable to a group. Today’s PE session was a perfect reminder that we can achieve more and have more fun when we work together.
As we celebrate 100 days of learning, we also celebrate the skills and values that will carry us through the rest of the year and beyond. We are so proud of all the progress Room 2 has made so far and can’t wait to see what the rest of the school year brings.
