Over the last two weeks at lunchtime, the library theme has been 'Rocks and Minerals'. Students were challenged to identify stones collected from Gem Stone Beach, and if they identified them correctly, they could keep the stone. We all agreed the stones looked their best when they were wet and would look stunning polished up. 

It was great to see lots of books on rocks and gems taken out - I think we have a few budding gemologists in the junior school!
