We are very excited to be hosting this year’s Southern Area School Tournament from Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th May. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our school and community to support our various sports teams, showcase our community spirit, and enjoy all the tournament activities.

We want to firstly say a huge thank you for the awesome support we have received for the tournament, from billeting to helping with food and games. We are really grateful. If you would like to come and watch any of the tournament, please come to school for any of the events. There will be a few changes to our normal school operations during the week:

• The school canteen will be unavailable next week, so there will be no hot lunches or Breakfast Club. Please ensure your child brings lunch from home each day.

• Parking onsite will be limited due to the number of visitors and teams attending the tournament. If you are visiting the school or collecting and dropping off your child/ren, please allow extra time and park on the street and walk onto the school grounds.

We warmly invite you to attend the opening ceremony on Wednesday, 14th May at 11:30 am, which will include a Mihi Whakatau and the much anticipated skits. We would love to see our community there to support our students.
