Last Tuesday, the four-year-old Little Hoiho learners enjoyed their first visit to TCAS for 2025. Room 1 was excited about their visit. The session began with a focus on the letter "a" and its corresponding sound. We then engaged in a fun craft activity, coloring and cutting out apples. The group also visited the library with Mrs. McPhee.

Little Hoiho returned this week, and the apple-themed activity continued. Students finished apple and then embarked on a creative caterpillar construction project. Using pipe cleaners, pompoms, and googly eyes, they brought their very own hungry caterpillars to life.

These caterpillars proceeded to "eat" their way through the previously crafted apples. The visit finished with Mrs McDougall reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar."
