From Classrooms to Chairlifts!

The annual ski trip was a success as everyone had a great two days up the mountain.

After only getting one day of skiing on the ski field last year, the 2024 TCAS ski trip to Cardrona was a great success! Students and whānau were given two beautiful days of skiing with clear skies and excellent conditions after a fresh dumping of snow. Lessons first up gave the students time with instructors to learn, and then the rest of the day was filled with runs up and down the slopes to put what they learnt into practice. It was wonderful to see the students develop their skills and confidence over the two days and also watching everyone ski together and support each other.

A special thank you to Mrs Wilkinson for her extensive efforts and time in organizing such a fantastic trip. Appreciation also goes to Mrs McDougall and the parents who were on the trip and helped out by skiing with groups of students, putting chains on the school van and helping in so many different ways. Thanks for the great memories Cardrona!
