Hard Tech at School!
Term 2 has been a busy one in the Hard Technology Room, with students knee-deep in various projects and skill-building activities.
The seniors have undertaken individual projects, which highlight their own creativity, passion and craftsmanship through the entire process. This extends from planning and design, to development and creation. Some notable projects include a game of cornhole, a coffee table, chainsaw parts, and a voting box for the formal.
Meanwhile, Year 7 and 8 students have just begun their technology journey this term, focusing on designing birdhouses. They are honing their skills in joining wood, nailing, gluing, sanding, and painting with much enthusiasm. These birdhouses are expected to be completed by the end of the term.
It's been great to be a part of teaching new skills to students. There are so many students engaged and connected with their learning in the Hard Technology Room!
