Room 1 are working on a Measurement unit with Mrs Bopp. Every student had a great time working out how many linked cubes it takes to measure how tall or how long each of these dinosaurs were. If you look closely you can see some very careful measuring and recording going on! The tamariki needed teamwork and korero (discussion) to work out how to place the cubes carefully for accuracy. I'm sure this activity will be a future favourite choosing time activity for Room 1! This skill will transfer to so many other learning opportunities.
